Davis Mwale:
‘VTC has impacted my life greatly in gaining knowledge and experience.
I have recommended the course to others from our village and one
graduated his carpentry course.
My family has been impacted also as I have been able to send money to
help them survive. My wife and child now live with me in Ndola, now I
am earning money to support them.
The Church in Kawama that I am involved with has benefited greatly from
my practical skills. I have been able to help them make church benches
and fit doors.
The students learning there and other staff members have learnt from
the skills and abilities I’ve gained.’
Frederick Chongo:
‘VTC has had a great impact on my life. I have been spiritually
transformed and I am no longer working as a casual worker but as a site
project supervisor.
My family has benefited greatly as well. My wife completed the
tailoring course in 2004, and now I have a better job than ever before.
The community where I live also benefits as I help in building houses.
I am also helping at my church with the development of structures. I
encourage those I work with to study at the VTC.
